Spotlight: Akuma No Riddle

Another manga adaptation was turned into anime was recently release this spring. It is a story of 12 assassins disguised as students targeting one. Akuma No Riddle is a full packed action anime with 12 episodes, so it's definitely a fast viewing.

I have finished watching it in two days, roughly 6hrs so some of you can definitely finish it in one sitting. Just to give you a heads up, this is not a shoujo anime. It's another battle royale-ish kind of series as the main character struggles for survival to graduate from her academy. High school girls fighting in different martial arts forms, using different weapons and end up in battle damage form (don't over fantasize, just regular high schoolers).

Meet the characters

Pretty much the plot is a bit predictable, knowingly from the start you would know that the antagonist will come out victorious. Though there will be mysteries yet to unfold along the way and you'll get to know more about each of the characters too.

Azuma & Haru

On the side note, there are subtle implications of yuri all over it. The "subtle" part is relative though. *wink But you can easily overlook it, just think it this way. Real friendship exists. They are just bunch of highschoolers who value friendship.
